OHIS Industrie has recently developed a lifting device to safely (dis)assemble modules from the top of metro trains. This project, fully designed by OHIS, is a testament to innovation and efficiency.
To optimize height, OHIS chose a two-rail system, allowing the hoist to be placed as high as possible between the rails. For safely and evenly disassembling large modules, two hoists were coupled in tandem to lift a single frame together. All safety signals, including electronic overload protections, are communicated between the two hoists.
The assembly location, accessible only by rail, added an extra layer of complexity to the project. Despite this challenge, the work proceeded smoothly and successfully. This project marks another successful assignment for OHIS Industrie, further showcasing their expertise and innovative strength in the industry.
“This was a unique project due to the special location and the technical challenges we overcame,” said a spokesperson for OHIS Industrie. “We are proud of the result and the safe execution of the project.”
