In Comines, OHIS Industrie recently installed a new Vetter column jib crane at one of their clients. This jib crane, with a lifting capacity of 500 kg and a reach of 3 meters, is a valuable addition to the client’s facilities. The crane is installed outdoors and exposed to all weather conditions, but thanks to a special protective roof, the hoist remains sheltered from the elements. Additionally, the slewing movement can be locked for extra safety.
One of the challenges during the installation was placing it on an existing concrete floor. To solve this issue, a larger base plate from Vetter was chosen. This base plate is easy to install and ensures that the jib crane can be perfectly aligned, which is crucial for safe and efficient operation.
