At OHIS, we understand the importance of safety and compliance with regulations for lifting equipment. According to the General Regulations for Labor Protection (ARAB), all lifting equipment in Belgium must be inspected. We offer flexible inspection options to meet the needs of our customers.
For fixed installations such as overhead cranes, monorails, or jib cranes, we always perform the inspections on-site. This ensures that the installation operates safely and correctly in the customer’s work environment. For mobile installations, such as the compact JL workshop cranes, we can perform the inspection in our workshop before delivery. This allows our customers to put the equipment into service immediately upon receipt.
However, some customers prefer an inspection at their own location, often by the inspection body that conducts their periodic inspections. In these cases, we are also ready to assist. Recently, for example, we supported a customer in the pharmaceutical industry by providing test weights and assistance to ensure their compact crane was smoothly inspected.
